Did Google Make Us Stupid?

After reading this article, I relate to some of the issues they point out when it comes to comprehending certain reading and thinking. Many such as I struggle to comprehend long pieces and writing verses looking on the web for reassurance. They also talk about the majority of the people including bloggers saying that they stop reading actual books and other written forms on paper. The more we look at the world wide web, the more we lose the ability to comprehend printed/elongated articles and books. People already don't like to read long paragraphs and even long texts. We are so use to just skimming paragraphs and getting information from websites that we don't take the time to actually figure it out ourselves. Even though they seen an increase in reading since the 70's and the 80's, it still poses some concerns. Our ability to actually think for ourselves and writing for ourselves will eventually decrease. Viral Videos

Double Rainbow DR This viral video capture a rare sighting of a double rainbow. On January 8, 2010, Paul "Bear" Vasquez recorded this from his front yard in Yosemite National Park in California. Throughout the video you can hear the excitement that the guy has. Paul described the sighting as the "Eye of God". This video was also nominated for the People's Choice Award for Favorite Viral Video Star. Unfortunately, Paul passed away on May 9 of 2020 David at the Dentist DAD In May of 2008 this viral video shows a seven year old boy out of it after having surgery to get an extra tooth removed. His father said he recorded him before and after his visit to the dentist. David was on anesthesia and was saying and asking silly questions. Cover of The Rolling Stone Dr. Hook and The Medicine Show

History of song: Genre- Rock Original Air Date- 1972 This song was written by Shel Silverstein and was recorded by the American rock group Dr. Hook and The Medicine Show. The song highlights what success is/looks like in the music industry/business especially with rock groups and other rock related genres. They also talk about not having a cover photo featured on The Rolling Stone magazine. They are basically doing everything that the other artist are doing and still don't have a cover. A year later, they finally get a picture, but it only features 3 out of the 7 group members . The magazine also did not include the bands name. It was rumored that they had re-recorded a new version so that way, you could not hear the words Rolling Stone. After re-recording, they named it "The Cover of the Radio Times".
